Temple Beth Shalom, as a full-service conservative congregation, has Shabbat Morning Services every Saturday.
Our services, let by the Rabbi and one of our Cantorial Staff, are both meaningful and spiritual. We conduct our services in Hebrew, with many english readings, as well as a Sermon or teaching. We start our traditional service with Shacharit at 9:30am, followed by a Torah reading service, conducted in Hebrew from the Torah at 10:00am, as well as a Haftorah reading. We finish our worship with the Musaf service, which begins at 11:30am. Our services are followed by a luncheon, provided by our Sisterhood, or sponsored by a congregant.
We also have Bar and Bat Mitzvah services several times a year. We invite the congregation to join the Bar or Bat Mitzvah in the celebration of their journery into adulthood.
We use Siddur Hadash, which we chose because it has transliteration for the prayers, as well as meaningful readings and translations. It also is a gender-neutral prayer book.
We use the Etz Chayim Chumash, which we chose because it has amore modern interpretation of the Torah, as well as insightful commentary.
We invite you to come and worship with us. Our services begin at 9:30am. If you would like to know what time services begin, please check our Calendar, or feel free to call the Temple Office at
